Traveling vast lands of sand...

Stopping along the way with only the Grays’ canvas tent for protection, the dogs have been walking for hours without even a single tree in sight for shade or to mark their path. They’re on their way to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World after spending a few days relaxing by the big river, but they weren’t prepared for such a journey!

“I wish we hadn’t left our compass at our last stop, Butter. I hope we’re walking the right way.”

“Walking in all of this sand is exhausting,” says Butter, “and the sun’s so hot!”

“I know,” squeaks Scotch, out of breath. “It looks like there’s a triangle of shade over there, beneath that – what is that?!”

“I don’t know Scotch, but I’ve seen some wall etchings along the way shaped like humans, birds, cats, and even dogs – so I think we must be headed in the right direction.”

Cheers!

We had a fabulous time in January. For February, we traveled to another country a little further south. However, it can be quite cold and rainy here.

"Yeah. Could someone give me my galoshes?" Scotch asked sharply.

"You should be thankful that you are traveling with the Gray's around the world. Not many dogs can say they have seen the world," replied Butter.

We feel like royalty here. The interior of the buildings reminds us of Graylyn. The Gray's purchased the wooden panels of a guest room and the marble mantle in the Main Dining Room from this country. The Grille Room reminds me of this country during the medieval period.

Today, we visited some mysterious stones.

The Ship Reached its Port!

We left New York 10 days ago, finally we landed in our destination after a long journey at sea. According to Gordon Gray, the youngest son, Mr. and Mrs. Bowman Gray, Sr. enjoyed sitting side by side in deck chairs taking in strength, comfort and pleasure from each other. Bowman, Jr. and Gordon travelled to many countries with their parents.

Whew! We are happy to get out of the crate, stretch our legs and explore the third largest country in the European Union. It is quite warm today - 23 degrees Celsius. Perfect day for a walk.

"I could use a walk after several days in a crate," Scotch said sharply.

Butter replied, "Don't worry. There is plenty of coastline to explore with plenty of daylight while visiting this country."
