713, 714, & 715 - The estate manager lived in a small apartment at the Mews. The original apartment had access to the Mews Rose Garden and the cobblestone courtyard. The apartment contained a working fireplace. The original hearth and mantel adorn one of, what are now, three guest rooms.
Bernard Cottage

410 - The Grays lived in the garage/guest house during the construction of the main house until 1932. Named for Nathalie's second husband, Benjamin Bernard, Gordon lived in the cottage during the first three years of the Bernard's marriage. Once Gordon went to war, Nathalie and Benjamin moved into the guest house. The sons, Bowman Jr. and Gordon, occupied the manor house during the first years of their marriages. She lived in the cottage until her death in 1961. Now, the cottage is home to ten guest rooms and a conference room.
Gardener's Cottage
The Gardener's Cottage was home to the estate gardener when the estate opened in 1932. It was accompanied by the green houses that are no longer on the property. One part of the green house is located at the Womble Estate off of Strafford Road. The cottage was originally located adjacent to the Mews on property that is now the backyard of our neighbors at Graylyn Place. Nathalie and Benjamin Bernard lived in the Gardener's cottage for the first three years of their marriage. The cottage is now home to four guest rooms with a shared parlor room.
