Wedding Planning
Congratulations! As you embark on the journey to your special day, we suggest you review the guidelines and planning suggestions for an elegant Graylyn wedding.The following outline details the important steps for a successful planning and wedding experience:
- Contact Graylyn’s Special Event Account Manager at 336-758-2429 to learn more about weddings at the Estate.
- Schedule a site visit to view the property and discuss wedding options.
- Once you’ve decided that Graylyn is the ideal location for your wedding event, we’ll send you a contract securing the date. You will have 10 days to sign and return it with a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the estimated food cost (excluding tax, gratuity, and service charges).
- Upon receipt of your signed contract and deposit, you will receive confirmation from Graylyn. Graylyn’s Special Events Department will contact you to discuss additional planning details.
- Approximately six months prior to your event, you should provide a vendor list and approximate schedule of events to Graylyn. The vendor list should include your contacts and phone/day of event phone numbers.
- Three weeks prior to your event, attend your second planning meeting to finalize details.
- Ten days prior to your event, sign page one of the event plan and pay the estimated balance in full.
- Seventy-two hours prior to the event, please call your Special Events Department contact to guarantee your final number of guests.
